I lived in Florida for half of 2019 and then moved to Colorado. My base period is 1/1/19 to 12/13/19. I’m 20 years old and just recently moved out on my own. I made $1,180 in the last 3 months of 2019 so I don’t qualify for unemployment as far as I can tell. I’m still “job attached” but my company is shut down due to the pandemic and I’m not sure how to make money. I’ve made about $4k this year but that does not include the current base period. Are there any other government financial assistance options? Will either Colorado or Florida allow me to receive unemployment despite not meeting the minimum salary requirement in the base period?
