Not sure if this is the place for the question.

I’ve thought about refinancing my auto loan recently. I can make the payments fine as is, but I could use some breathing room.

I’ve tried to look around the internet about it but so many sites are split between “Refinance, it’s amazing and doesn’t hurt credit!” and “Don’t refinance unless you have no other choice, it will ruin you!” So I really have zero idea.

Is it bad to refinance? Will it hurt my credit? Is that frowned upon when a loan place sees that on my history?
